No hot water in Tacoma — quick checks before you call a plumber.
Whole-house cold at every hot tap points at the heater. One faucet cold usually points at that fixture or a mixing valve. Common causes: tripped breaker, out pilot or gas supply, failed element or thermostat, sediment, or a tankless error code.
Safe checks, then stop

- Electric: Check the water-heater breaker. If it trips again right away, stop and call licensed help. Do not keep resetting.
